Development Programme
Indago Development has recently worked with a care home provider with multiple homes in the south of England. The purpose was to coach and develop each of their managers. Two expert coaches led this programme. Each was assigned a group of managers. They met each manager, individually, on a weekly basis for six weeks.
This intensive coaching was designed to equip them with the tools and strategies necessary to improve their leadership skills, strengthen team dynamics and foster personal and professional growth.
The focus was determined with senior leadership from the outset. It included communication, delegation, conflict resolution, confidence building and team management. The programme also provided practical frameworks and actionable strategies, enabling managers to apply these new insights directly to their daily roles and responsibilities.
The outcomes of the programme were both significant and wide-reaching. Participants reported a marked improvement in their confidence and decision-making abilities. The emphasis on self-awareness and reflective leadership helped them refine their approach to complex challenges, resulting in more thoughtful and effective leadership. The practical tools introduced throughout the programme were commented on as being really useful and they can be readily integrated into participants' daily practices.

It allowed me to review my own workload and what I could improve or change as a manager. For each session we had to prepare and complete pre-work which we discussed within the coaching session.
